Umtha organised and facilitated an introductory meeting with identified organisations in order to solicit their buy-in, and determine disabled peoples’ critical needs, and subsequent participation.
Umtha further undertook:
- Researching and compiling a ten-page concept document in consultation with the various stakeholders;
- Organising and facilitating a one day summit;
- Organising and facilitating two follow-up workshops aimed at crafting the implementation plan from the outcomes of the summit.
