Induction and Capacitation of School Safety Committees in the Nyanga Policing Precinct

Umtha was involved in facilitating the Nyanga Safer Schools Induction Workshop, which was aimed at improving the safety conditions, and reducing the levels of violence occurring in schools within the Nyanga area. Nyanga is one of the MURP (Mayor’s Urban Regeneration Programme) areas identified by the City of Cape Town.
